Content is developed to be medically accurate, trauma-informed, pleasure-positive, LGBTQ+ inclusive, nonjudgmental, accessible, and age-appropriate for its stated audience.
Trust and transparency
Consent Classroom aims to make complex topics clearer without replacing individualized medical, legal, mental-health, or crisis advice.
Content is developed to be medically accurate, trauma-informed, pleasure-positive, LGBTQ+ inclusive, nonjudgmental, accessible, and age-appropriate for its stated audience.
Health and safety information is checked against government agencies, professional health organizations, peer-reviewed research, and established national or state service organizations whenever possible.
Consent Classroom links to organizations that maintain their own service listings. Inclusion is not an endorsement, and services, hours, eligibility, costs, shelter availability, and policies can change.
Time-sensitive directory pages display a verification date. Visitors and organizations are encouraged to report information that is incorrect, inaccessible, or no longer current.
Report a correction →Language avoids assuming gender, anatomy, sexual orientation, ability, relationship structure, or experience. When a source uses narrower terminology, Consent Classroom adds context where helpful.
Consent Classroom is Georgia Michaels’s personal education and advocacy brand. It does not operate the external hotlines, clinics, shelters, coalitions, or programs it lists and does not guarantee their availability.
